Tranquil Acres Camping is a family campground idyllically located on
the banks of the quiet meandering
Our campground has a country cottage type of atmosphere where you
can relax and enjoy nature, on your own, or with some of the wonderful friends
that you will make here. Guests are
always welcome to enjoy the park with you.
This quiet river is navigable for approximately 5 kilometres. Rapids at either end of this stretch add
interest for the canoeist and prevent other boaters from using this part of the
river. Only our campers and a few cottagers
use this stretch. The fishing is
excellent and comparable to most of the lakes in the area. The slow current is ideal for fishing,
swimming and canoeing.
All of our sites have open areas adjoining them. We have some beautiful sites right on the
river bank.
The beach and swimming area are extremely popular, the shallow area
is cordoned off for the smaller children, and a raft anchored in the deeper
section of the river provides a lot of fun for everyone. There are several play structures to suit all
ages.
